The good Burberry coats start at a grand. I picked up a herringbone wool J. Crew Sutherland overcoat on sale this winter. It was promptly returned. It wasn't even on the same planet at Burberry. I agree with Robert on this one, the J. Crew coat is worth about 1/10th the price of something like a Burberry coat, not 1/4. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate on J. Crew as much as some people do on here even though I joke about it. I get at least a handful of sweaters and shirts every season. We gotta call it what it is though. One of my co-workers has a nice winter overcoat that he got at Abercrombie & Fitch of all places, for $90 and the quality was on-par, if not better, than the J. Crew one that I had. It fit him better too.
