30% off sweaters now, but I just looked and the two that I ordered yesterday that were "on sale" for $10 off plus the 25% I got are now both full price.
Oh, and what's everyone's thoughts on these pants? I bought them, can't get over the color, really unique shade of brown and I dig it.

Haven't tried it on, but a great color and seems to have enough flannel to skip the thermals on a really cold day.

I bought them about 2-3 weeks ago and I've been wearing them at least twice a week. The flannel lining is great, and the color is actually very versatile. Fits TTS,

really? i checked out gant's products and didn't find anything similar to jcrew. jcrews blazers look good because of the cut, the soft lines, and the three roll two. i don't see any of those aspects in gant blazers, as well as the fact that the gant blazers have a higher drop than the jcrew lines...

You're right, they have different fits but roughly the same kind of aesthetics. In my experience you don't find a lot of brands/designers with the same kind of J Crew cut because honestly, if you do not have an athletic build and are 6ft+ then in my opinion J Crew tailoring will not look good on you. Sleeves are often too long, shoulders padded etc. as for the button roll, afaik very few J Crew blazers have a three roll two?

Gant blazers have a higher drop because it's European. Personally I like Gant a lot more, construction feels a lot better for my body (slender 6ft), and the fabrics are definitely better. Sure it may cost a bit more but the quality is reflected in the price plus they have pretty good sales.

If you don't like Gant, then maybe Rugby?

Only thing good i find about J Crew blazers is you get wide selection to choose from

Only vintage slim fit according to the website. What's the difference between urban slim vs. vintage slim vs. 484? Closest other thing I can find is the stanton urban slim in chester brown, but it's still not the same. I tried these pants on in store but size 33x34 because they didn't have my size 31x32, so that was pretty much useless but really looking forward to getting these in (which is off since I normally regret/return everything I order from J. Crew). Glad to see such positive feedback on them, sometimes I really like a piece which turns out to be awful and need others to sanity check me.

For me, the vintage slim fits close to levi's slim straights while the urban slims are a bit tighter on me. I may just have a weird shaped body so other input might be helpful.

Vintage Slim is categorized under Classic which is a "slimmer" cut. The only difference between urban slim and classic according to Jcrew is that the Classic sits on the hip while urban slim sits below the waist. Therefore from my understanding the flannel lined chestnut pants are considered classic due to the waist but fit slim. (there even slimmer due to the flannel lining)

How are the donegal sweaters? Thinking of picking up either the navy or brown.
