The length is okay but the slim shape will pinch the side of your feet. I'd go .5 size up.
went in today and tried the trapper jacket, the fit is weird, tight chest but shoulder fits fine....i think i'll just up my game to buy myself a barbour
J Crew prices are initially high...but EVERY single thing in that store eventually goes on sale...it's actually a good price when they go on sale. And especially when they have an extra percentage off sale. My experience is that J Crew runs big. So keep that in mind. If you are a medium elsewhere, a Small would be a good, tailored fit at J Crew. I love their direction.
Yup, the 25% additional off on top of the sale price + free shipping = good price. I still have to get stuff tailored anyways, so that's how I need to do it.
holiday catalogue arrived in the mail, those suede alden wingtips (p.132) are dope.
Has anyone tried on their corduroy jackets? I like the look of their blue one.
Anyone have any hints at what the black friday discount will be? I'm really wanting to red phone a pair of Indys.
^Why not just use the current code of 25% off +FS (YOURGIFT)? The Aldens are all still there.
Ah - hadn't checked the site since they were doing just the extra percentage off sale. Any way to con the online people into doing a student discount on top of that as well?
just ask? worst they can say is no.
no really other way around that. perhaps someone from jcrew who assists you will be in the holiday giving spirit.
Well, the details say that it doesn't apply to third party stuff, but it works.
By calling? I was just looking at it from an online perspective.
Email them through your student account .edu and ask for the discount. Better yet, just order through your student email.
I think for Black Friday, there will be 25% off transactions at or exceeding $150. Starting tomorrow, I heard.
