Don't know if this would apply to you, but If you still have your college i.d. you can always ask for a student discount (15% i think).

I have this weird thing going on with the stitching on each boot (yet opposite sides of the boots), where the sole is stitched on:

You guys have similar "extra" unthreaded holes on yours?

Yea, mine have a couple extra holes on the outer side of each shoe but mine look much cleaner than yours.

Yeah, the thread is kinda bunched up on that boot, the other one is cleaner, without the effed up thread

I'll assume is normal and merely cosmetic since the construction feels totally sturdy.

It's normal. I've seen it on Aldens and Whites and others.

What's the best product to use to polish these? The leather IMHO is almost identical to the Red Wing oxblood series. It's very oily and kinda smudgy but I imagine it'll wear into a lighter color with a lot of character

Guessing this is a good approximation of what they'll turn into:

Yes, mine are just like yours.

I'm wondering the same thing. I have Saphir for other shoes/boots and may use it on these. I'm not sure if medium or dark brown would be best. For this type of boot I may let them age a bit and apply some shoe cream as needed. As for now, I put one coat of Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP. I'm sure they'd handle a little water as they are but I wanted to be on the safe side. At first the boots looked a bit darker but now they're dry and the color is just like before.

Tried on the Bayswater peacoat in S earlier and I really liked the fit. Heard the outlet got an extra 25% off so I had to hold off and buy it there when I get the chance

I saw that shirt at the Liquor store in NY. They only had really big sizes left so I didn't even get to try it on but it was a great looking shirt. I liked the fabric and style enough that had they had my size I likely would have gotten it. I've thought about ordering one but I just don't need another chambray shirt.

Really? I remember buying a slim fit t-shirt that was in their clearence/sale section and I asked about the student discount and they told me it doesn't apply to already on sale items.
