I'm digging J. Crew's solid colored cashmere scarves. But is it worth $100?

$100?? No.

I got a nice cashmere scarf from Macys (surprise) that has held up well without much pilling for $50 a few years ago. Check also on STP for possible deals online.

I got a cashmere from RL for $60 that also has held up quite impressively. I feel as though J Crew is on the verge here in moving into a price range that COULD make it less desirable unless they are changing their target market.

Maybe if you used a 20% off coupon or the 15% student discount. I wouldn't pay $100, though.

Didn't realize Macy's has cashmere scarves. I'll check them out in the store. Thanks!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
