J. Crew blazer quality?

A couple months ago, I bought a 346 label navy blazer at the Brooks Bros. Factory store at Prime Outlets Jeffersonville. That same day I had also seen the Legacy Blazers at the J. Crew outlet there for, if I remember correctly, approx. $200 off ($100 + tax) ! I wasn't sure about the quality so I passed at the time. Then I found out there was a BB Factory store at the outlet mall, so I headed straight for it. I ended up purchasing the 346 blazer with shiny, gold toned Waterbury buttons for 50% off ($150 + tax). Now, after trying on of the blazer I purchased (multiple times) at home, I'm wishing I had purchased the J. Crew one, since I had tried on the Legacy at a regular J. Crew store previously and it fit me more trimly than the 346 and also had faux horn buttons and a 3 roll to 2 button arrangement rather that the 346 blazer's 2 shiny metal buttons. I have previously posted pics of myself on here wearing the 346 blazer so some of you have seen how it fits me. The thing is that the J. Crew blazer's fabric looked kind of "pilly". Is this normal for that fabric or a sign of bad quality? Should I just forget this whole concern altogether and try to make the best of my 346 blazer?
