so i always useta hate wet shaving; time-intensive and painstaking are not two of my favorite adjectives, ya dig? then one day while blazed my two-day stubble started really irritating me, and i got out the badger et al. and shaved that **** right out of sight, a process i found intensely pleasurable. later, i realized i never had such a close, irritation-free shave in my life. from that day on, i resolved to never pick up a blade sober again.

i recommend this process to all who want to: a. get the best damn shave ever, and b. have a really chill shaving sesh.

There is a bit of technique involved. Don't apply pressure, just enough to wipe off the lather. Blade at 15 degree angle. Multiple passes, first with the grain, then against. Also, it takes some time for your skin to adjust, this is the case with any method of shaving.

A big part of the reason why people get irritation with disposable/cartridge razors is because they are going in 1 direction regardless of the direction of the grain, and applying pressure.
