1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I was a huge AC fan. Think I had all his records in the 80s. Halo of Flies. :slayer:

this thread is also a reminder of why some obscure bands are obscure.

pretty hard to say what "obscure" is imo, since I really got to know these groups when they were past their prime... but I like some songs by blue oyster cult, hanoi rocks, slade, misfits, mc5, diamond head...

ha! i put "shake and rattle" on my annual top 10 list when it came out. great band.
and come on guys, buffalo springfield and captain beefheart? if they're obscure, that's more a comment on the sad state of the american educational system and for that you're going to have to move to CE.

Shake and Push  ? :fistbump:

There's a guy named Tom Taber who has a pretty nice collection of "officially sanctioned" good quality bootlegs - fun stuff!

Does Golden Earring count? They have some famous songs but I don't think many people know who they are.

    Also, this.

I dunno...Radar Love is straying into One Hit Wonder territory. For Dutch obscurity I'd go w/ Focus (or the Outsiders)....

    Black Oak Arkansas anyone?
