Currently I have in my possession 1 pr. of black Chelsea boots & 1 pr. of snuff suede Chilterns, both C&J 6.5's (both brand new/unworn other than trying on). They were purchased from PLal and turned out to be a bit too snug (Mr. Doshi subsequently sent me 7's which have worked out a bit better). Before I send them back to Mr. Doshi & absorb the cost of shipping to Kuala Lumpur, I would offer them up to my brethren here @ SF for the price I paid & I would include cost of shipping within continental U.S. The one advantage I can see here is that you could avoid the typical 1-2 month wait to have the shoes shipped from C&J to PLal, etc., assuming this is the style & size that works for you.

This sounds suspiciously similar to what Mr. Doshi told me earlier via email, that there were a pair of Chelseas and a pair of Chilterns available for sale due to their being too tight for a customer. I would have taken him up on his offer, but I feel that I should really stop my shoe-buying for a while.

No need to be suspicious Alias-- I am that customer. As far as your shoe-buying habit, what are you so afraid of...it's just a pair of shoes...or two (insert sinister laughter a la Dr. Tzin-Tzin/AJL avatar). Bwahahaha...

I'm sure that Alias can quit at any time, just like I can.
