Hey everyone. So its 2008 and it seems like everyone is doing a remake of their classics catalog. The cars I remember growing up were the Dodge Challenger (from Vanishing Point) and the Ford Mustang (from Bullitt). These were both classic cars that made waves in the car chase movie genre. We are now in 2008 and both the Dodge Challenger and the Ford Mustang are back and better than ever. My question to all you muscle car fanatics is this: Which movie would you like to see remade with their respective car upgrade?

If anyone decides to remake either of those classics, they should be shot.

Remake Bullitt?

Walter Chalmers: Frank, we must all compromise.
Bullitt: Bullshit.

Besides, all the current car movies are about tuners and the current mustang just isn't one for the tuner crowd.

That said, tough to see a steve mcqueen in a GLI.

I would like to see a remake of 1976's The Gumball Rally

But you'd have to keep the 427 Shelby Cobra and the Ferrari 365 Daytona.
