I have read that you can soak a scarf in cool water and hair conditioner (in the case of wool) to soften it. I also heard that wearing the scarf would also do the trick.

What do you do when you have an itchy scarf?

Buy a new one. Why wear it when it feels uncomfortable?

Stop buying shit and you would not feel itchy.

Cashmere or silk only: there's the solution.

Vicuna if you can get your hands on it.
