Hey everyone,

I wanted everyone's helped with shopping advice in Italy. I tried searching, but it seems all the threads are old.

I just wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions for shopping in Italy. Specifically Milan, Florence and Rome. Any particular stores or malls. Stuff typically not found in the states is preferred. That includes shoes. I want to buy a pair of leather or suede loafers (maybe at 500-600 USD tops) and some basics like shirts, polos, chinos and blazers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Florence: Mannina shoes, Scuola del Cuoio bags, Sartoria Vestrucci (new sartoria managed by Ambrosi, Bemer and ... don't remember)
Rome: Cruciani & Bella, Sartoria Ripense, and there is an antique hats shop (maybe someone on SF know the name), Marinella,
Milan: Rubinacci, Al Bazar, Stivaleria Savoia (bespoke, MTM and RTW shoes)

For basics you'll find a lot of the average menswear shops sell excellent brands as it is.

When in Rome visit Battistoni on Via Condotti.
Very high end. Staff a bit arrogant, but the store
is one of the most beautiful I've ever visited.
I own some of their RTW purchased in the US.
Superb workmanship and quality.

I have to agree with comrade, Battistoni is probably my favorite store along with Rubinacci in Naples. My two favorites in all of Italy.
