Has anyone ever heard of an Italian mill named Carnet? If so, any opinion on quality and finishing?

Thanks,

We have some of their books at the shop but I have never seen any of the fabric made up.

Seems like decent stuff - Chris would know more about it.

Their main claim to fame were their gabardines. Now I have a suit from the fabric and it is good but not worth the price. I would NOT get a gabardine suit again now that you can get items like 150s plain weaves etc that give the same richness and yet breath and give more.

Also, if youre looking for longevity, which many around here seem to be, nothing beats the English fabrics.

They are a distributer that also owns a few mills.

A few of their offerings ARE rebranded English fabrics.
