Italian-made Cole Haan Shoes $550

Is there something really wrong looking about these shoes - or is it just me?

6 eyelets. Looks weird. But the waist look good, doesnt' it?

They look out of proportion because the heel is normal size and the rest of the shoe is short but tall. Didn't know if I was the only one who thought they looked weird.

I've seen them in person. They don't say shell cordovan, but they look like it, don't they? The style is pretty weird, IMO. Big shovel style. And the perforations are really big and look strange - not to mention the 6 eyelet.

Glad I am not the only one. The shoes look really busy with 6 metal eylets, huge perforations - too much. I agree they are out of proportion also. IMHO 50$ is too much for them.

They were $300 at the Cole Haan outlet. They are actually handmade, hand-nailed, and quite nice from a quality point of view. It's just they style that may not be for everyone.
