Italian dress shirts question

I just got my 1st Borrelli dress shirt.  I find it to be very good fit except for the sleeve width.  I also own 2 Canali dress shirts.  All of these shirts have rather baggy sleeve when compared to Hugo Boss and Armani dress shirts. Is this what italian likes to do with thier shirts?

I wear 16 neck, I have about 16" upper arm when flexed, so I do not have tooth-pick arm ..

Milano, where did you shop? Harry Rosen or... do tell.

The Borrelli shirts I find manufactured for the US market fit like a tent, a sail. I now purchase my shirts direct from Charvet in Paris, as their shape is fitted. Zegna (Italian) does offer a fitted shirt in their MTM program, but you won't see the same selection of fabrics as at Charvet. Not by a longshot.

Although a blousy sleeve is a halmark of the Neapolitan shirt.  You can get Borrellis with slimmer bodies, either MTM or RTW in other markets.  But it will be hard to convince them to change the sleeve width.

I got Borrelli shirt from A Harris, eBay. I think the shirt is made for Nieman Marcus, so US market.

Borrelli feels pretty good. I particularly love that pleats on sleeve heads, and .. oh yeah ... that oversized button.

But I do not think it is some worth paying $500 CDN for.
