Italian Clothes made in Other Countries

I know that italian made clothes are reverred here, but what about the italian labels putting out clothes produced in foreign countries? At the Saks on 5th ave, I noticed that this was the case with many of the designer's collections. Should these clothes be avoided? I don't really want to pay $75 for a shirt (even if it is 75% off) if it's of the same quality as a $25 shirt.

The Downtown Los Angeles men's clothing district is flooded with the following

Persian owned, Italian named suit company with products made in China, Korea, or Spain

These RTW products should be avoided at all costs (their tags claim retail price is $1500...but on sale for $300.

This isn't just one company...there are a number of these

These aren't unfamiliar names. I'm talking about Versace, Gucci, Varvatos, etc etc..

That may be your opinion not grounded in any facts what-so-ever! Yeah, they sell Z Zegna and have the low/middle lines in some of their stores but they also have the higher end too. They sell Brioni, Kiton and Isaia. How are you going to lump those clothes in with the Hugo Boss they also sell and just write them off for doing so? Have you ever set foot in the store for more than 5 minutes?

What brand (s) are you referring to? Your best friend on this site is the search bar while you work on getting up to speed. It may seem like there is a group think going on here, but there isn't (to a point). You need to find your own individual style using quality materials that works for you at your place and stage in life.

I am a frequent customer at Saks. I recently purchased cashmere sweater from M. Batsian and several Zegna pants, and a few Charvet shirts.

Even in Barneys, some brands outsource the manufactoring of some the product line. Not an uncommon practice. It the label says made in china, then the its over priced. For example, Theory at Nieman Marcus is over priced to be made in china. A shirt retails for $110 from Theory, and a Burberry shirt at the same store made in London is priced at $150. Which would you purchase.
