Issue with new W.W. Chan suit

I received my first ever W.W. Chan suit in the mail this week.

It fits very well. The workmanship is excellent. It was made to exactly the specifications I requested.

There is one issue. There is a small - perhaps 1.5" long - run in the VBC fabric. The run is at the edge of one of the rear vents. It is difficult to see except in daylight.

See the photo:

Is this something I should feel entitled to raise with W.W. Chan? I don't want to be overly fussy. Is it normal to find these sorts of minor fabric defects?

That would drive me berserk. I would absolutely bring it up with them and, at least, given them an opportunity to offer a solution.

You've got nothing to lose.

If you have an appointment with Patrick on the July tour, take it up with him then. If my experience is anything to go by, he will be more than eager to satisfy you.

Since the run is in such an inconspicuous place, I would suggest you might just live with it and see what kind of discount Patrick will give you on your next order.
