Hi everyone,
I was interested in allen edmonds and tried on many of their shoes, and find that they all have 1 problem for me, and that is the width of the widest part of my foot. Everything else fits fine, but at the widest point, it always feel tight. This is 11D btw, I tried on wider shoes, while they help, it made everywhere else very loose.
I was at another place that sells CJ, and they said I have high arches.
I wear numerous pairs of CJ and Grenson, and they all fit perfectly with regular width. Do my foot just don't work with AE?
When I look at the general shapes of AE in comparison with a pair of CJ I own, it seems that the CJ is wider at the widest part (I apologize for my crappy terminologies...) but narrower everywhere else, which not only makes the shoes looke sleeker, but also fit me better.
On the other hand, the AE is more... I don't want to use the word blobby, but it seems to be more rounded I suppose, and that ends up being a problem for me.
Is this something that is common or do I have weird feet size?
