Just looking for a slim safari shirt that I wouldn't mind having some cool design details. I tried to get a Polo but it ended up having some stupid writing on the back. Im willing to go up to $150. Anybody know of any good ones?

Here's the Wested Indy Shirt.

It looks pretty boxy but the guy makes them so I am sure you can ask him to make it a little slimmer. If not you could always get it tailored.

if you can't find anything, as an alternative you can always take a looser fitting shirt to a tailor, spend 10-20 bucks and have it slimmed down with great effect.

when I tell them I want it slimmed down what words do I use to describe what it is I'm looking for them to do. Take it in?

You could always get a tailor to measure you and send the folks at Wested your measurements. Or order your size and take it to a nearby tailor (NOT DRY CLEANERS) and get the work done. If I was getting a $75.00 shirt altered I'd rather spend a few more dollars and know it was in good hands.

I know that burberry london has one that GQ used in this month's 'upgrade' section--check the GQ site, I believe it ran around $250--don't know what your price point is

$240 is a little high. I think $150 is my high point

I rather like the A.P.C. Boy Scout's shirt. I'm not sure if you wanted only long sleeve as the A.P.C. is s/s. It's priced at $140 on their website or $130 from Oi Polloi. http://www.oipolloi.com/store/APC-SS...hite-2743.html (A.P.C.'s photo is a bit clearer, but you can't link it as it's flash.)

see, the problem with buying things online, is that the definition of "slim" is different for everyone. you'll probably have to take it to a tailor in the end anyway, which was why i suggested it. i've done this for a number of dress shirts with great success.
