Islay Crockett and Jones heel not flat to ground/causes discomfort?

From what you say MrJamesCost, it seems like the design of the boot is that the heel does what mine does. I'm going to bend the sole loads and wear them about the house and see if the pressure point goes away. I really hope it does because I feel like a king wearing them

I have this issue but really no pain. If you want, a cobbler should be able to manipulate the heel stack to alleviate this. @Nick V. might have input.
