Hi, I have two sportcoats in mind a grey and navy one from isaia. I would like to wear it with a jeans to school.

What is your thoughts to wear these two jackets as casual? I'm starting to build my wardrobe so I think these two will be quite versatile in color.

If they fit well, then they can work. They look a little more like "winter jackets," and those outfits look like "old man clothes," but if you put together the right combo, it could look fine.

^ exactly i'm only 26 years old. I don't want to look like my father :). They are indeed from the winter collection so I will be wearing it next winter.

I wear nearly only C&J with jeans so in that combo i would like to achieve a youngful look.

I like the navy one. People have worn navy odd jackets with jeans, and while I don't care for jeans myself, I have no problem with the look. My issue with the grey one is that it appears to be a winter weight but I think that light grey color looks a lot better during the summer. You'll find grey odd jackets are not very popular around here in general, but I think that has to do more with a view that medium grey trousers are ideal for odd trousers with classic menswear and grey jackets and trousers tend to not look great together. If you are wearing this with jeans (or maybe the right shade of chinos), I think the grey jacket will be fine. I'd go for one in linen rather than a wool jacket so you can have something lightweight for the summer. A light tan linen jacket might serve you better, though.

I have already enough summer jackets, but no winter jackets so this is a nice opportunity :)
