Bit of a silly question because I suppose it depends on personal circumstance / finances and budget.
But is $1700 USD considered a decent sale price for this quality a blazer ? (Full price is $2800 USD)
The most I've paid for sport jacket is in the 600-700 range for a Canali on sale so this is way above what I'd normally spend.
But with stores closed nowadays they are trying to move some stock online and I wondered if I should jump on it.

It’s certainly a discounted price. I’ve seen prices lower but then the problem becomes selection. If it’s something you really want then I’d go for it. Keep in mind Isaia has a few different models with different fits, so make sure the merchant has a solid return policy.

any chance you could post a link?

I just bought an Isaia suit for about $550, final sale so I'm stuck with it. Nothing weird, single breasted notch lapel 3 roll 2, in their trademark blue (you know, like navy but a little brighter) Fits OK and the cloths feels nice so no regrets but I wouldn't pay that much for one again.

Thanks for the replies ! That sounds like a great deal 550. and another tip that came in about jackets going for 75% off or around $800. So I guess these are the bottom territory for Isaia jacket and suit prices. So 1700$ is nothing to brag about. Just regular 40% seasonal discount from the big brick and mortar stores.

I would advise that your interest level in the item (not the bargain) guides you. It's not a revolutionary discount, but if it's that one jacket you'll enjoy tomorrow as well as in 20 years, it's a steal.
