There's a picture in the new Departures mag of a jacket made from wool dyed in blueberry juice only, tailored by Isaia. The jacket itself is fairly egregiously Italian, but the color of the fabric seems very nice. Has anyone run into this IRL?

I hear it also has a good bit of natural stretch.

Do you think the camel toe was by design, or a fit issue? Tutee's pant thread would probably suggest the latter.

Without seeing the one in Departures you're referencing, I'm pretty sure I actually bought this at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC a couple months ago. Single breasted, Wool/Linen/Silk, partially-lined, with white MOP buttons.

Normally, the color/pattern would be something a little bold for me, but something about it convinced me to grab it. The blueberry color is extremely beautiful and lustrous IRL - it has almost a mother-of-pearl iridescent quality to it without being overly "shiny." Definitely a bit of a go-to-hell piece, but once the weather is consistently warm here in NYC, I think it'll really rock.

I was just at Barney's in San Francisco and saw another blueberry dyed jacket. It's different from the one pictured above. Still flashy, but much less so. It's a medium blue with a lighter blue windowpane. It was very pretty, don't know if anyone has a pic of this model.
