any room on the side seams inside? if it'e even a 1/4 inch on both sides to let out that might give you some breathing room.

alternatives:
move the buttons over a little
stop breathing so much
lose weight
sell on the forum
????
profit

My size 15 stretches just a bit and I'm perfectly fine with it. In fact, I order all my MTM shirts like that, too. Not a single button has come off yet.

err, sounds like you need a 16'', I guess you bought online?
If anything the cotton is going to shrink very slightly and be even tighter.

only 2 top buttons are tight...the tailor is gonna move the buttons. and it will fit great

but yeah 15 3/4 would have been perfect...
i also heard that if i wear it wet (after a wash), i could stretch it a little...
but the buttons will be sufficient

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
