Is this too much detail on a tux

Let me first say "hello". New member, first post.
My question is ... is this too much detail in my tux?

The tux itself was picked up from a vintage shop here in Toronto and I love the detail on the shawl collar.

The shirt is an Eton I got from another men's store I frequent in Toronto. I had an old "standard" tux for a couple year, and I wanted something to deliberately stand out ... but have I gone too far?

Not for Toronto, no. I keed, it's fine.

The rather nice lapel facing makes up for the notched lapel.

I would say it depends upon the occasion.

The occasion ... I'm planning on wearing it to a couple formal weddings over the course of the summer. I'm a young (ish) guy (34) so stepping outside the boundaries of typical formal wear doesn't faze me much.
The vintage ... it's from a bespoke order by a local tailor (now out of business) from 1962.

Personally I think it is beautiful and should probably work for the occasions you mentioned.

I also do not like it, I think the fabric on the lapels highlights their weird shape. Actually I quite strongly dislike it, but meh, most people seem to like it.

go with a midnight blue tux, and the lapels will really pop. I love it, much more exciting as apposed to to the normal satin or grosgrain without being too gaudy.

I kinda like it, but maybe not for a public party if it were mine. I would like it more if the facing weren't on the breast pocket.

I'm sure that you will have fun with it, and in the end, that is what it is all about.
