Is this tie too strong for a businessman?

Would you consider this tie to be too "loud" that I plan to accentuate my Navy Blue suit and white dress shirt? Should I go for a darker navy, and baby blue stripes, or is this tie fine?

Absolutely fine. I would say its rather restrained, even by a politician's standards. Looks rather "Dubya."

I like it. I'm sure it will pair nicely with many patterned & striped shirts.

Too strong? I was expecting something quite different....that's perfectly fine for any setting.

Too weak. You need something with flair, at the very least a woven or textured.

Perfectly fine. The navy and white stripe "tie" together a navy suit and white shirt, and the baby blue provides brightness without being loud, flashy, trendy, or obnoxious. I would call it "well played."

Meh, I generally don't care for striped ties in business, especially if the tie has lighter colors. Personally, I like stripes more for social occasions. But yours is nice enough, the consensus seems that to wear it would be fine.
