Is this suit too big?

Hello fellas

I registered because I need some experts' opinions on this suit I bought a couple of months ago.
I am very concerned if it fits me? I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures but I am a very tall guy (6'5) and fairly skinny as well, so I am not sure if this is the right suit for me.

Anyway I uploaded a couple of pictures. I hope there is someone out there who can help me out

Really tough to tell from these pics. It looks like maybe you've got the right length but not the right shoulder/chest size. Try the next size down and see how that fits.

Yeah I definitely agree. Would it be possible to go to a tailor and change the shoulder pads?
Also I'm not sure if I can change the suit to a smaller one - I think I bought the suit in January.

From the pictures, the suit appears to be one size too large. Sleeves are too long and jacket a little roomy. Wear shoes in future pictures so we get an idea of the break.

Also, is this an outfit for prom or something? If not, I would highly recommend against the black shirt/silver tie combo.

It's certainly possible to alter the suit, but I sincerely doubt that it could be altered successfully at the shoulders. Try to exchange it first.

That fit is terrible. If I were you, I'd return it immediately.

Yeah thats what I feared - I hope the store will be kind enough to exchange it.

But since I don't wear suits on a regular basis I just wasn't exactly sure how it was supposed to fit.

Did you remove the tags? Usually you can get store credit. It's really not that bad, especially in the eyes of the common person. People here will be extra tough on you since this is an enthusiasts' board.

Yes I unfortunately did. If the store won't let me get a smaller one, I guess I just got a little wiser

It must be closer to your body...

The fit and balance are wrong...
