Is this Suit practical? The Cost is amazing but is it too "odd?"

Picked up this suit for $125, need to get it tailored. I am a guy in his early 20's working at a large law firm this summer and need to upgrade my suits/wardrobe. Looking for any thoughts on this suit. Also, what shoes/dress shirt/tie would go good with it?

TIA for the help

I don't care for it myself. But even if I did, I would not wear it to a law firm placement. Far too 'individual'.

I don't like it personally. It's not very practical for summer either - heavy brown cloth and fully lined?

Those stripes are ugly. The lining is pretty bold, but people won't see it. On the other hand, the stripes are hard to look at. Maybe you should stick with basic, solid color suits for now...navy blue, charcoal grey and medium grey.

I could wear it, but not as a first year lawyer (or worse yet, as an intern)....

I can't speak to its professional suitability (no pun intended) because I'm not in that camp, but I like it as a more flamboyant piece of an already established wardrobe. I think it's unique without being too loud. I am, of course, just talking about the suit. The way that it is paired in those pictures is complete trash, but I'm sure you knew that.
