Is this suit appropriate

I just bought this Isaia suit. It fits great, but I was wondering about the pattern and color for v10 law in Boston. Its a dark greyish-blue with a grey pencil stripe. The firm is fairly conservative--I know navy and charcoal are always safe but is this suit work appropriate in a fairly conservative firm? Thanks for all your help, and its not too late to return it so don't hold back.

Thanks bjm. Grimslade, your question sounds like a trap
patch[1].gif
so i'll say its a US 56S, and await your response.

In that case, it's perfect. Nice job, nice suit. Don't worry.

Had it been a EUR 54R, OTOH...

I'm trying to think of the stupid boss who'd be mad at his employee for wearing this suit and I just can't imagine it. Maybe some anti-pocket square guy...

Thanks for all your help. Thats quite a load off because it fit nicely off the rack and the price couldn't be beat. Now the only question remains how do I tell my wife she was wrong (1) email her this thread (2) get some friends together and have a staged reading of the thread with wine and hors d'oeuvres when she comes home (3) blow up a picture of the suit and put it over the bed in a gold rococo frame.

I'll go with choice #3, Alex...

Not for conservative business dress, only for UCBD.

IMO the OP's suit is very lawyerly.

I couldn't imagine an environment where something like this would not be conservative enough.
