Well it is clear that the clothes that are discussed here often are some of the best, most well made in the world. Apart from personal tailors that charge tens of thousands for their work, this is what the world wears. From presidents to the those that are often in the spotlight of Forbes.

My question to you is this: is this your personal hobby to seek out and wear the best clothing you can find/afford, or is this the lifestyle you live. I'm not implying that people on here are playboy millionaires but rather treat other aspects of your life in a similar fashion? Are you this picky about your education, work, house, girlfriend/wife,restaurants. Are you in prestigious circles? You might not be a millionaire but if you pay this much attention to other aspects of your life you are bound to end up in a good place since you would've paid great attention to your education, end up working and making a decent wage..etc.

From what I've read on the forum, it typically reinforces my thoughts that styleforum generally does attract these people. With the exception of a few, I got the impression that people here generally are pretty successful in life.

There is of course another possibility of many members here just taking this as a hobby. Not really following through with what this type of clothing usually carries with it but you have to spend your money on something right.

What do you think?

I don't think that's true.

People who are into clothing are often very ne plus ultra and detail-oriented in other aspects of their lives, and some of them just like clothes. This place has both of the types of people you describe, however, it's not strictly dichotomous. Stop trying to pigeonhole us.
