1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

And please don't lump all us Asians together as brand-whoring people who just want to be walking billboards rather than care about the finer elements of fit, style and class... Not all of us are like OP.

    Egads!!!!

Unfortunately, you're pretty spot on, mate.

Guess it's up to us 'un-lumped' Asians to balance out the chaos, wouldn't you say?

Course, if I were lumped with Grace Park, Fan Bing Bing or Zhang Zi Yi, I wouldn't be complaining at all... [IMG]

Suspect the wife might not be of the same opinion though.

or one of those kpop girly men styles.

Hermes Man, you are equating price with quality and therein lies the problem of your fashion choices. Many designer clothings are actually poorly made yet sell for a high premium. For a good read, order Dana Thomas' insightful book "How Fashion Lost Its Luster."

Don’t blame the man. Its not his fault .He is just Asian.
Its just typical Asian mentality. And he is just a another player.
Don’t blame the player …blame the game !

I actually think that they're something pure, honest, and authentic about the kind of unabashedly Veblen-esque conspicuousness of branding that is popular in Asia right now. There's nothing attractive or even noticeable about, say, seven-fold ties--we all just love them because they're expensive, but at least Malaysians are man enough to admit it.

More young girl friendly? A. Young girls are morons and have no clue what they want. B. They really aren't very talented between the sheets, because they haven't lived long enough to have gotten sufficient practice. (by young girls, I mean 19+, btw, just to clear that up) and C. Even Justin Bieber shouldn't be dressing like Justin Bieber. I'm in my late 30s, and I've found that if all else fails, a decent sport coat over a solid colored button up shirt paired with some dark denim jeans and a decent pair of oxfords or ankle boots is always a safe bet for looking well dressed (and age appropriate) no matter how old you are.
