Is this okay for a guy to use for travel?

The material is coated canvas and is marketed for women. I didn't realize this until after I bought it.

To those who use Tumi (and that's about half of the travellers out there), it's a definite WOMEN's bag.

Of course it's okay for a guy to use. No one's going to pay any attention to it. It certainly will blend with the 1000s of other black bags at the airport. If you check it ... when you get to the baggage carousel you will be forever wondering which bag is yours.

That said, I now question your manhood for having questioned your manhood over some darn suit case!

Oh? Interesting. I wouldn't have guessed but I don't travel with such a thing anyway. Honestly, I would travel with a purple bag and not think twice about what people might think...

If you enjoy the styling, and it fits your need, you should not think twice.
