Is this ok? Gap in sole at toe on new Aldens.

These are my new Alden boots and I just noticed that the sole is pulling away slightly on the front of the left boot. You can see it in the pictures. Is this normal? Nothing to worry about? Or, is it something that could lead to larger problems down the road?

I'm somewhat new to quality shoes so I appreciate your help and thanks for your input.

Yep...after a coating of Obenauf's though. Very different look from how they originally came.

Yes, that's okay. It's just cosmetic and it in no way will hurt the boots later on.
