It's not like you paid for it, i say pass it on to goodwill and get somthing newer and nicer. unless it's just a damn perfect fit, you're poor, or you have some real style.

The most important thing for me is the fit/sizing though

I don't. It is obviously an out-dated, 80s-style jacket, and it will look like it. It will fit like 80s Armani - comically out of place in the context of what people wear now.
