I wouldn't say it's horrid. It's nothing I would wear but given it's eccentricities and the type of person who would buy a suit like that, you could do much worse.

horrid. I really hate that kind of textured fabric in mens clothing. it looks sort of like really ugly drapes.

The price tag sounds like typical eBay seller hyperbole.  Suit might be nice to have if you hang out with NBA players on a regular basis.  Or are the type of person who would rather be gawked at than ignored.

If you have the rocks to pull it off, and it fits into your style, then why not? It ain't me, though.

I think this is a strike against the argument "brown suits look good". What's with those buttons??

Retail price is waaaay off, even though it is from the top line. I would think $3500 tops.

What really cracked me up is that when I first saw it, I realized the biggest controversy it might cause would be an argument on this board about whether brown is eligible for city wear. I thought maybe posting it here would get a response like, "That suit is brown. Unacceptable for daily business wear."

Of course, the offensive styling, buttons, fabric, hell... just about everything about it, makes the whole argument about it being appropriate for city wear rather moot. But it does make a great counterpoint to Chuck's brown suit he was showing us, saying brown can be worn in town. Hey Chuck, whaddya think of this suit with one of your shirts and ties? Heh heh. I think I might buy the suit, just so I can take a pic of it with the shirt and tie I just got from Chuck and post it on the forum.

I think your username requires you to like this suit. Â [IMG]

The buttons are odd but visually give it nice locations of contrast versus the dark brown of the suit. The material of the lapels is placed expertly, giving it a great sense of angularity.

The way the buttons are placed on the chest is unusual, but I think it's pretty obvious this was not the design house's intention. Just cause it ain't a business suit or ain't somethin you would wear doesn't necessarily make it a badly designed suit in its own respective element, so to speak. I would evaluate it the same way I would evaluate women's couture. You may never wear it in your life, but you have to admire some really good aesthetics that go into it and appreciate the designer's motives and inspirations. There are lots of cheesy extravagent suits that I hate, but eh, I think this ones pretty good.

Haha. Can I please get a username change just because of this suit? In all reality, I came up with this name before I knew any better. [IMG] I do like some of the basic Gianni Versace pieces because of their cut, and the printed silk shirts are beautiful, though personally unwearable.

I would have thought there were a million other qualities that make it unwearable for daily business, aside from the brown. [IMG]
