Looks legit.

If you buy, spread the back of the tie (large end), there should be a single thread knotted tucked in there. I doubt its fake, though.

Used is actually a +... new ones are a worry.

Looks real, but unless I inspect it I cant say 100%.

For my part i bought 2 Hermes ties on ebay, they were also looking real like that one but quality was cheap. I don't know if it's fake or not but ebay is not a good place to buy a hermes tie. The quality of hermes ties that i bought in a hermes strore was definitely much much better. On the price side hermes ties are not that cheap on ebay

Hermes silk twill ties would feel "cheap" compared to any high-end ties out there, simply because they use light silk. Their heavy silk ties are much more substantial. Also, new silk twill ties would be quite crisp, and thus give the illusion that they have higher quality than used ones.

I've only encountered 2 types of Hermes ties: a thick silk and a traditional twill. To me, its the thick ones that feel rather cheap. I prefer the thicker silk of other brands over Hermes.

Over time they've changed the twill slightly, the vintage Hermes are a touch different than newer ones. Maybe that's what you are experiencing? I've never encountered a modern Hermes any different from what's in a store. Or maybe the fakes have caught up? I'd have to see it in person, but I've yet to encounter a convincing Hermes fake.

Looks legit but the location gives me pause. The seller has a 14 day refund policy so you should be ok.

How would you get the wrinkles out?

A steamer. Careful with Hermes, though, don't get the steam too close or for too long. The silk is thin, it easily loses shape.

Do you think they'd do anything if I took it into an Hermes store?
