Is this Hermes tie legit?

The pattern is very large, I thought Hermes ties were almost invariable very small repeating patterns that only became discernible when you looked at it up close. I'm sure I could see that pattern from a mile away. That alone would kill the appeal for me, whether it's real or fake.

The silk runs from 11 o'clock to 6 o'clock like an authentic Hermes would.

Thanks.

I'd prefer it if it were a smaller pattern as well (like most Hermes ties), but I like the idea of the journey of a sherpa on a tie. I may purchase it if he re-posts with a price drop.

Do you guys know from looking at its photos if it is legit? How can you tell a legit Hermes tie from a knock-off? Thanks!
Leverandon, What a beautiful design - I am tempted to buy one myself. Typical Hermes ties are all about beautiful prints. which means that unless something is very wrong it can be hard to tell a copy from an internet photograph. If you are holding one in your hand and the print doesn't look just right for any reason it could very well be a copy. It is not that easy to make very beautiful perfect prints.
