Is this Dior trench coat real?

Hi everyone!

About a year ago I bought a Dior trench coat at a thrift sale for $5.

Some questions about the trench coat:
Is it real/authentic?
How much is it worth? How much would I be able to sell it for?
How old is it? Is it vintage? I was under the impression that Dior's menswear was called Dior Homme, not Christion Dior Monsieur.

Personally I'd like to keep the coat, but I'm a girl size xs and my bf is a size s, so neither of us can wear it without looking crazy. Since this is the case, I decided that the coat is just taking up precious space in the closet, and I should get rid of it.

I'm sure Christian Dior Monsieur is a proper legit CD line, like Dior Homme, it's just a different line. I had a Monsieur jacket once, similar label to your trench coat. ..."Christian Dior, Beijing & Guangzhou" ;)

If it's fake or not, can't tell, I'll leave that to the SF Dior experts. The spelling seems to be OK. CD certainly comes in for a lot of counterfeiting though.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
