Is this (casual) blazer too small?

I picked up a 7FAM blazer at the Rack today, and I'm not sure if it's too small or not. It fits well, except the vents at the back don't overlap and sit normally. Part of this is that the vents are sort of creased outwards, but I'm still not sure. I really like the thing, though...

Whoah. Vents should not do that. It's too small.

Definitely too big. It's not just the flaps, the buttons look like they're hurting there. The arms look fine, but the buttons, the vents and the bottom of the front scream bad fit. Nice looking jacket though. If you could somehow return it for a size up, then thumbs up.

I have no idea what size it is, either. It's nowhere on the thing. I like it, but every time I put it on I'm thinking I should return it (the tag is still on.)

There was only one at the Rack, unfortunately, or I would size up. It seemed like a really good deal at the time, though.

While I agree it looks too small, the sleeves end at a comfortable length on you and the shoulders look spot on. If you don't really need to button this up (especially if you're only going casual), I think you could work with it.

Definitely much too small when buttoned, but I agree with whodini, it might work okay if you just don't ever button it. I actually kind of like blazers when they're a size too small and unbuttoned.

Then the question becomes... is it worth a college student $100 to buy a blazer he can't button?

No. Start thrifting and you can get better results for a lot less.

Yeah, I agree too. Much easier to spend $30 (or even less) on a blazer from a thrift store and have it tailored. You'll still probably end up saving a good $30 to $40 over that $100, and it will fit much, much better.

Simply too small, and too expensive to keep no better than it fits.

It looks as if we share a similar affliction of the large butt. I usually buy my coats based on ****** then have them taken in at the waist. You'll get a much better (and natural) fit.
