It's not bad. I'd say try the B&S forum as well though.

Looks like an orphaned suit jacket.

For $150, buying something that is over 10 years old does not represent great value. This is something I would expect to see in a thrift store - purchaseable there for under $20.

If you really like this jacket, buy it. But only if you really really times 10 really like it.

The fabric is hopsack, so it is likely that it actually is a sports coat. He writes in the description that it's a 2-button jacket when the pictures clearly show 3, so who knows what else he got wrong.

Not a blazer at all. As the poster above suggests an orphaned suit jacket.

Judging by the label and its look. And it is NOT a good deal.

OP, no offense, but if you can't tell sort of things like age even in a general sense just from looking, then ebay is a minefield for you. Use the B&S section here and other places like Ask Andy for better results. You won't get 'cheap' stuff, but the prices will be good value nonetheless. Also look at the thrift exchange threads.

another trick, is look at what else the seller has... that seller has a lot of old vintage stuff so that should be your tipoff that he has no problem selling something 10-30-100 years old.
