Hello,

So I’ve been wearing this POW suit for a couple of weeks now. But recently when I wore the suit, the right chest dart had this like weird dimple? The left chest is clean but this issue? Is only happening on the right side.
Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks

Doesn’t look like anything that pressing wouldn’t fix. Do you feel anything bulky under the dart? Maybe a crease or fold in the lining or the canvas?

Hey,

There isn’t a crease in the lining and I’m pretty sure the canvas isn’t creased in anyway. The weird thing is I hung up the jacket on the wooden hangers only days ago and it was fine. But when I put it on, that “dimple” is there. So I just have no idea what could be wrong, if any.
Thanks

if you push with your finger from the inside of the jacket at the top of the dart where you see the dimple , does it go away? If so, it just needs to be shaped by pressing with an iron

Hello,
Yes, when I push at the top of the dart on the inside of the jacket. The “dimple” goes away. Do you know if this happens regularly to suits? I don’t really want take it to the dry cleaners every month to get the jacket to shape. Is there anyway way around this? Please forgive me if I’m explaining this badly.
Thanks

Have you tried the jacket on and see if the dimple goes away?
No need for a cleaner to press. You can do it yourself. Fold a towel or something to recreate the chest shape. Place it under the area you are pressing. Hold the iron on the area using a press cloth so you don’t shine or burn the cloth. It will be fine. Avoid dry cleaners pressing this.
