Is this a good, conservative interview tie for a solid navy blue suit?

It is somewhat similar to the BB#4:

But is it still a little too bright?

I hear solid light blue is not quite 100% conservative, and TheTieBar did not appear to have any conservative Gray ties (another recommendation I read).

Is this one good? It is really hard for me to tell how a tie is going to look until I have it in person without camera / monitor distortion and have it tied on me lol.

I cannot afford anything too expensive, and I was looking for conservative alternatives to the Burgundy (already have one) for a solid navy blue interview suit.

honestly, tiebar ties seem to just look very cheap to me, whether its the sheen or just the colors. given the amount of sales going on right now, why not look around? what is your budget? kent wang has some wonderful grenadines that are much more suitable to interviews in my opinion. http://www.kentwang.com/ties

I don't like the grenadine recommendation -- they are conservative in the sense that they are monocolor and not shiny, but a grenadine is not remotely similar to the type of tie that most people wear.

I too dislike the tie bar repp stripe, although I dislike repp stripes generally -- I think they can look juvenile unless done well (and the tie bar one is not done well).

I'd recommend something like this: http://www.ehaberdasher.com/servlet/the-13659/Lawrence-Napoli-Tie/Detail

How about this one? A navy pindot / poka dot (people seem to use the terms interchangeably despite there supposedly being a difference). Hard to find one that is inexpensive.

The Tie Bar navy pindots seemed to either have too many dots or were TOO dark navy (especially since my suit is a pretty dark navy).

I just find it difficult to find a tie that is under $50, is interview-friendly, and that I personally "connect" with.

A navy or dark blue polka dot for me. Maybe a dark blue/light blue and silver/white diagonal stripe
