Hey guys!
My uncle gave me a brand new Gucci shirt from somewhere, and I want to know if its authentic or not! For the sake of being polite, I have decided not to ask him where he bought it from etc etc

I've taken a few pictures of the lables and the tags etc, so maybe someone out there who knows a real Gucci can tell if this is one of them or not?
Thanks guys! Here are some of the pictures: (Just remove the extra spaces in the links)

Looks very suspect. Where does it say it's made?

The retail price is way too low for a Geuine Gucci shirt, and it's a little weird that it has Mexican sizing.

Yes, it's VERY fake. The font is all wrong, the tags are wrong, the buttons are wrong, and the retail price of $98 is off by about $400. Gucci gets more than $98 for socks or a necktie. It's a fake that doesn't try very hard to be real, sad to say. The people who made it have heard of the name but probably have never seen a real one to make a copy. Anyway, it's a simple black shirt, so if it fits you and you like it, then wear it. Just don't wear it thinking that anybody will think it's Gucci.

A shirt like the one you posted, simple black in a regular type of cotton, is probably $350-400. The price will go up depending on the fabric or the details, but you probably won't get one much less than that. Silk or better fabrics could be anywhere up to $900-1000. Edit... I was actually on the low-side of pricing. It looks like they're more in the $500+ range, given the prices on their website: Ex: Here's a simple white button-down and it's priced at $555. http://www.gucci.com/us/us-english/u...10524Z01678466 A similar plain cotton button-front in dark purple/black is $525. http://www.gucci.com/us/us-english/u...99634Z03315165

Sure; post a pic of the tags. I'll take a look and give you my opinion and others will, too. Versace, Gucci, Prada, and LV are SWARMING with fakes and so chances are, unless you are very careful where you bought them, that they are probably fake. But, post a pic, I'll give you my two cents.

The tags for the Versace look okay... but not seeing the garment, I can't say for sure. They are at least attempting with those tags to get closer to looking real; using the Itierre tag and such (they are the company that made VJC).

Anyway, I wouldn't start posting pics of all your garments; we don't mind helping out, but we aren't an authentication service and putting in all those links and taking the spaces out takes too much time.

CK are generally of such abysmal quality that even if 100% authentic, they probably aren't much to write home about.

Wow! Just checking out the Gucci website and found this gem. Looks like Gucci has been checking out Eric Glennie for inspiration. Sure as **** looks like an Eric Glennie Cutout shirt collar to me, whether color blocked or cutout, the design looks very suspicious . I guess I need to call Gucci and tell them my wife is looking for a check.
