Is This A Decent Value - $140 for a Calvin Klein Topcoat

Is $140 for a wool/cashmere Calvin Klein topcoat (that fits well) a reasonable value? Are there any alternatives in that price range?

For illustration purposes, its almost identical to this one on ebay

I believe I purchased a notch lapel one very similar to this (same lining) at Off Fifth for a much cheaper price (something like $40 or $50 bucks, so low that I couldn't pass on it). For a brand like CK, you're much better off waiting for a big sale.

You can usually find CK coats for under $50-$100 when on sale. Generally there's nothing really exciting about the coats. However the coat that you won does seem nicer than the normal CK offerings.

I do think you paid a bit too much for it though.

I have the same coat. Very nice material/fit. You can probably get it for cheaper at Macy's when on sale plus coupons.

I saw this very coat at Marshalls yesterday for $99, so, no, it's not a good value. Also, beware. I have a CK microfiber overcoat and, even though it's a medium, it's still huge (and I'm not a small guy, 44S....).
