Is there anyway to wear this jacket as a sports coat?

For jeans, it depends on the fit of the coat. With chinos, I'll have not go with no, *unless* you know what you're doing.

It could work with jeans. Lighter, beat up jeans. And a more interesting shirt. Say, burgandy.

Not the easiet piece to use, but it could be workable. As a rule, smooth charcoal fabric doesn't work well casually.
