Is there a good looking gray summer tie? Bmulford suggested the "perfect" tie as navy or gray. That made me wonder, gray for summer, maybe? But what? Cashmere seems heavy and wintery. Is there a gray linen or silk that looks summery?

I have gray linen and some bright gray silks that are great for summer.

Black (or black ground) is nice with a super light gray suit and white shirt. Very early 60s, which I suppose is why you like it.

Grenadine sounds great. I'm wondering what SF thinks about seersucker ties. Doable?

I have a gray seersucker Gene Meyer tie left over from the 90s. Love it.
