is there a daily planner in Vista?

So I've got Windows Vista and would like a daily planner/desktop calander function. Does it have one already built in, or will I need to use MS Outlook or Google or download a planner?

P.S. I use Google's calendar. You can't access Outlook's calendar online unless you sync it with Hotmail.
