I am getting a bit tired of them.

But I want others to continue wearing peacoats, so they don't glom onto other styles that I like and trendwhore them to death.

This will happen unless you have found a style that is truely unique and your own. Something that
those of us who do not trendwhore strive for.

Fashion is for trendwhores, style is for those who define themselves regardless of what fashion says is right.

Unless you're a blind person and make your own clothes you can't really dress "outside fashion".

I make my own clothing and others would argue I'm blind based on my WAYWT's, yet I own a driver's license...in Georgia. Do I count?

Isn't that what the artisanal brands do over @ SZ?

I never got into them. It's something I've always associated with pseudo-intellectual coffeehouse going hipsters.
