Is the jacket doomed? Hole in shoulder

Small nick at the shoulder of a wool jacket. shoulder pad visible. Can a tailor fix it or is this jacket forever doomed to carry the war scar?

Reweave. It wont come out perfect, but a good reweaver may make damage only obvious on very close inspection.

If it's not worth reweaving, it would be worth keeping as a daily/beater jacket.
