Is that a tie used as a pocket square?

Looks like one, or a very interesting fold . . . on a very stylish Mr. Valentino.

I think it is a pockets square-there are just too many wrinkles. For some reason I can't see him in a tie with that pattern.

Perhaps that is why he is wearing it as a pocket square!

I think the tie folded into the breast pocket after a day's work is a great look (such as if you're off to happy hour or a bar/restaurant), assuming the pocket square and tie can fit together, if not, one of them has to go in the pants pocket. Leaving home like that can only be pulled off by a few people, and I'm not one of them.

I have a pocketsquare with that exact same pattern.

It's a true pocketsquare, just in an inverted puff.

Looks like one of those big 18" silk pocket squares.

Well, the "stylish" Italians are known to spice up their jackets with more than just pocket squares!

Before I clicked I knew this was going to be the picture. I thought the same thing when I looked at it yesterday. Looks like a PS to me.

Does anyone else think Valentino looks like Kirk Douglas on estrogen?

This picture also appears to be a successful rebuttal of the recent denunciation of the shirt collar outside of the jacket.

Also, one could serve the Thanksgiving turkey on that watch, it's HUGE

Definitely an oversized pocket square. I love the fit of the jacket.

To me it looks like a fairly large square in a standard puff-type fold.

Standard PS, pretty standard fold, pretty awful t-shirt. Too many bracelets. Shirt collar looks bizarre like that. I personally hate the watch but respect that it's a personal decision and it does fit the mood of the rest of his dress.

Other than that, I like the jacket and pants (jeans?) and I like that his barrel cuffs are undone. Adds in that bit of sprezzatura(TM).
